Each year, billions of dollars are spent on meetings, conventions, parties, weddings, and special events. The people benefiting from these group functions are the ones that attend them. Now, through a program we call "Need-E", people (and animals) that are ill, homeless, hungry, poor, or disadvantaged will benefit as well.
In addition to the leftovers we rescue, our
Need-E department will make a monetary donation to charities that help others in need each time you use our service. The first time you submit a request, you can select the type of charity you would like us to make our donations to. If you prefer we make the selection for you, we'll choose one that relates to your business. For example, if you're involved in construction or real estate, we'll donate to organizations that provide the homeless with a place to sleep at night such as Habitat For Humanity. If you work in the food industry, we'll donate to charities that feed the hungry such as Save The Children. And, so on.
Our Need-E program makes donations to many different types of charities. Here are just a few of the organizations and causes we'll be helping.
